Songbird, a brand new café, will be opening in the Mt. Tabor area sometime in June.

Located at 6839 SE Belmont, this little “neighborhood eatery” says it will serve only the finest, local, farm fresh foods to their customers. The café will be open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. It is also fitted for wifi, so you can bring your computer and sip on Stumptown.

“We serve Stumptown Coffee and Nuvrei pastries in the morning, healthy, hearty greens for lunch and fresh juice cocktails in the evening. Dinner offers a delectable array of small shared plates,” writes owners Judy and Peter on their website.

We will keep you up to date when an official opening is announced, so keep checking back for any news. You can also follow the goings on of the café and some of the building process through their Facebook page.

Hours will be:

Monday . 7am-3pm

Tuesday – Friday . 7am – 10pm

Saturday . 8am – 10pm

Sunday . 8am-3pm
